Today I want to write about how much I love Husband, no poetry, not even prose, just me smiling from ear to ear and saying I love you darling.

bring in the green

I mentioned Before that there’s just something about a wedding in a lush forest that tickles me happy, but we all can’t get married in the Shire (I’ve asked), so here is some inspiration on bringing in the green…

Rings!

I absolutely love my engagement ring (thank you Husband) it’s a wonderful blend of old and new that’s just so me—still, I don’t think browsing rings ever gets old, these are some unique pieces I’ve come across.

Wedding Week

It’s pretty clear that this blog is a little all over the place (like me).

So I’m sure you all will be thrilled to hear that I am officially announcing Wedding Week. As I am up to my elbows in beautiful ideas from my favorite wedding blogs I’ve decided to share some of my favorites with you all week long, stay tuned and enjoy.

Wonderful image from Elizabeth Anna Designs, forest weddings are my sweet spot.

I love this sweet little number shown in a photo shoot by Gem Photo.

I love this idea from Cynthia Martyn, pink lemonade with matching striped straws, the vintage sewing table drawers are a cute display.

A Little More

A little more conversation....

began my engagement with a lovely civil ceremony, am now planning a wedding, looking for a career, and dealing with immigration for Husband

there's no way like your own way
more to come,

Writing: Lets Try This Again…

These are my delusions of reference. Success will deliver a blade, watching the light turn red will deliver a smash, too many bites will shake the earth, slough mud, crud—my errant thoughts are like the small red bugs poisoning the feed. How can I let him heal me, when I cannot stand to stand down, cannot stand to uncoil myself long enough to chance not being able to pounce.

Posting Under the Influence

note I. the unsubtle notes of cherry drifting out of a bottle of Nyquil smell awesome

note II. Nyquil itself, however, does not elicit a reaction any different from the grape flavored Dimetapp of my childhood

note III. Husband was dubious that said reaction would persist into adulthood

note IV. Husband is now cleaning the new dinner tray he wisely placed in front of me after providing the aforementioned bottle

note V. cherry Nyquil smells just as awesome after having graced the inner most passages of one's nose

feel better all,
Jilly J
